The Urban Farm Museum Society of Spryfield

We promote rural traditions in urban places through education and actual food production, bringing young and old together. We are reviving the farming heritage of Spryfield by creating a working farm museum in the heart of our community.

2018 Events Schedule

Saturday May 12, 9 am to 1 pm, Spring Plant Sale

Our annual plant and seeds sale at the Captain William Spry Centre, Sussex Street, is popular with gardeners in the community. We always have a huge variety of plants and seeds for sale at very reasonable prices. Door prizes and a good time to renew your membership and meet the urban farmers of Spryfield.

School Farm Day, Thursday, June 7, 10 am to 3 pm

If you are interested in bringing your classroom to the Farm, please email urbanfarmspryfield@gmail.com. We hope to have some special four-legged visitors, sack races and other games, activities in the garden, and snacks and a special cake.
